Strathcona Park from Quadra Island


Every year I visit April Point Resort on Quadra Island. There is a lovely restaurant there with a view over a garden to the Strait of Georgia beyond. From there you have an unparalleled view of the hills as they rise up beyond Campbell River, revealing the majesty of the mountains of Strathcona Park. Sunshine and shadow, water and sky, summer sunshine and snowy peaks - it’s all laid out before me.
